Kunwar Parth Singh is an honors graduate student with a strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving abilities. He is currently working as a Research Assistant at the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business, where he has designed a web scraper using Python, BeautifulSoup, multithreading, and proxy rotation to scrape data from websites with large data sets (45 million+ entries). He then manipulates the data into a SQL database, which is used for academic research and studying the impact of digital platforms on consumers and markets. Kunwar has 1.35 years of relevant experience in the field of software engineering and development. Previously, he worked at Arcesium as a Software Engineer, where he developed and maintained an application that handles 95% of all incoming and outgoing data from the Arcesium platform. He also worked as a Software Developer Intern at Arcesium, where he revamped the Central Authorization System, migrating it from the legacy framework, Hibernate to a more maintainable and scalable one, MyBatis. This resulted in a 40% reduction in response time of the auth APIs. Kunwar is an effective communicator who builds positive, cohesive relationships with all levels of staff. He is eager to put his extensive studies to practical, applied use and is seeking hands-on experience within a company that embraces creativity and innovation. He is proficient in various tech stacks, including research science, SQL, software engineering, Python, web, and backend development. Kunwar has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Thapar University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, which he is expected to complete in December 2023. He also attended Brightlands School from 2004 to 2016.
